HUMANS' STORY

Since humans want to make the most of the technologies they have invented throughout their existence, they draw on the energy and resources of the world around them. Their goal is to become more and more powerful and to do so they do not hesitate to step on the less advanced populations. The peace they had established with the surrounding woodland peoples was soon to be destroyed. The latter, not wanting to give up their beloved nature to beings without any respect for it, try to rebel, but they are weak against the power and the number of their enemies.

The humans have many weapons, among which are robotic devices, the most dangerous for the sylvesters who know nothing about this technology.

Humans live mostly in metropolises or in larger megalopolis cities but it is very rare to find humans living alone or recluse, the rejected of society isolate themselves in cellars or abandoned houses but never have the idea to leave their hometown. Most humans are born and die in the same city, and because cities are far apart and transportation is slow and only available to the wealthy, very few people move around.

Many cities are dominated by the wealthiest humans, so they set their own laws and each city has a different government, although the basics are the same for all populations.

The most common occupations were scientists, engineers, miners and soldiers. These occupations were mainly for men, while women stayed at home to raise their children. From a very young age, boys choose the path they want to follow, often the same as their parents, and enter a school that will teach them their future trade on the tips of their fingers. Each person is therefore extremely qualified and expert in his or her field, which is why research is advancing very quickly. There are of course other professions such as artists who invent the look of robotic creations or buildings in their city, shopkeepers or politicians.

SYLVANS' INVASION

Rahvad Lari has always been fascinated by the creatures living far from life called "sylvan" but the prohibition to go and meet them has always frustrated him to the utmost, he thought all day long about these magical people and promised himself to meet them one day. Having a certain talent for drawing, he soon became a well-known artist in his city and drew for the most important figures in the government. After spending a lot of time with the city's mayor and hearing about his plan to invade the forests, the artist couldn't help but want to be a part of it. He convinced his boss to hire him as a creator of machines optimized to guard and enslave the creatures he had studied so much. With the help of the city's best engineers, he created exceptionally powerful machines that could fight the sylvans. During the first human invasion, he finally met the creatures he had idolized since his childhood and was delighted to be able to own them, which made him want to invent new and even more powerful machines thanks to his close study of the creatures.

HUMANS' CITY : EMPIRASTRUM

The city of the game is called Empirastrum. It is a megalopolis, extremely powerful, filled with geniuses in all fields. Faced with a growing lack of resources, it was the city that came up with the idea of seeking resources from the creatures. Faced with the crisis and the unemployment of most of the inhabitants, the big men of the city wanted to save their economy, so they looked for solutions and the easiest one seemed to be to invade the sylvestres. Being weak and undeveloped beings, they would be easy to fool and exploit. They then decimated the people closest to them, creating the anger of the other creatures.

EMPIRASTRUM'S MAYOR

Ansleme Vepari was the son of two shopkeepers who, unlike most other children, did not want to follow his parents' path. He grew up next to the town hall of his neighborhood, where men of influence often gathered. Every time they went out to smoke in front of the building, the young boy would come out of his house to listen to them discuss current issues. Even then, the problem of resources was starting to be talked about and the world was becoming worried. Every day he would talk to one of these men who was looking for solutions to the resource shortage, but no one ever really bothered to listen. However, most of his ideas seemed viable, he wanted to propose a policy of recycling materials, the creation of forests to obtain long-term resources or even to consider a rapprochement with the distant people of the sylvan. Unfortunately, no one had picked up his ideas, but Ansleme carefully wrote them down in a notebook because they sounded pretty good to him and tried to talk about them to the other men in the town hall without much success. Everyone said that the boy did not understand all the issues and that he was too young to be involved in the affairs of the big people. All of this reinforced Ansleme's desire to learn and to be listened to by others; he wanted to show the world that he was very capable of solving problems. These feelings led him to enroll in political training.

He didn't fit in easily with the mass of kids who all came from the same background, but his strength of character soon made him one of the most popular kids in the school. People who despised him at first soon fell at his feet, ready to shine his shoes and become part of his entourage. His eloquence and persuasiveness, directly passed on by his merchant parents, allowed him to create his own gang that ruled the school until he graduated. After graduation, he was hired at the town hall where he had grown up, solved some of the problems in his neighborhood, and then ran for mayor of the town. As in his studies, he crushed the candidates in his path and soon found himself at the head of the city. His strong character and imposing physique, due to the many social gatherings he attended, did not inspire confidence, but his promise to save the crisis into which humanity was gradually plunging motivated the population to elect him.
After his election, he recruited the best in every field to work with him in his plan to invade the forests and pay homage to the one who gave him the idea.

A TECHNOLOGICAL AND CONTROLLING EMPIRE

In the beginning, all humans lived in an era of technology that advanced at a "normal" pace, but when one population began to advance faster than another, everyone rushed to create scientific and technological schools in order to advance. However, these evolutions and creations started to consume a lot of resources and suddenly everything had to stop and nobody could evolve anymore.
