IRO, THE CYBORG DOG

-Another blind dog my lord.
A faithful servant of the King of Woolfy came to his master's throne with a puppy. He took it in his arms, looked at its completely white eyes and growled angrily.
- This is not possible, how can all these dogs be blind?
The king was planning to create a new army with a litter of a hundred Dobermans, the physical strength of these dogs could certainly be used in a war, but for some unknown reason all the newborns were blind.
He threw the puppy on the ground, it squeaked in pain before returning to the arms of the servant who had brought it here.
- Make a public announcement, tell all the people that we are looking for a solution to give back the vision to the dogs of our future army. There are one or two tinkerers who should be able to find a solution. Indicate that a reward will be paid for this invention.
- Well my lord.
A few months later, a hundred candidates went to the royal palace to show their creations. The king had selected several blind puppies to submit to the various inventions.
The first gadget to be tested was a simple pair of glasses that didn't even fit on the poor puppy's nose, it didn't take a genius to figure out that it wasn't going to solve the problem.
The king was then given electronic glass eyes, although this looked promising, no one had the courage to tear out the eyes of one of the puppies to test them.
Many of the candidates showed inventions as original as the others: a guide dog for the blind, a sound transmitter that locates the environment and describes it aloud, a fully automatic dog war machine or a vehicle that carried the dog everywhere. Despite all these presentations, the king was still not satisfied, he needed something inexpensive to equip an entire army but effective enough to be powerful. And it was out of the question that he would not find a solution because thousands of blind Dobermans were already ready for battle but unfortunately unfit.
The end of the day came quickly and all the candidates had gone home, disappointed that they had not won the contest. The king contemplated the creations left on the ground and began to give up on his new army. But one invention caught his attention as the puppies, tired of being test subjects, played with the various objects on the floor. One of them had grabbed a pair of glasses and managed to place it almost correctly on his face.
The king then got up and approached the puppy, he looked at his collar to find out his name.
- Iro, give me the paw.
The young Doberman turned to his master and gave him the paw correctly.
- Now, can you tell me how many windows there are in this room?
Iro looked around and counted the windows.
- 12, my lord.
The king was filled with joy, his army could finally exist thanks to this young dog who unintentionally saved everyone. He then asked his servants to go and find the inventor of those metal glasses with the orange glass and covered him with glory. Thanks to him, the Doberman army could exist, to the great happiness of the king who wanted to expand his kingdom.
